I don't know... I haven't even picked up a drum stick in over a year.

Mma has to be awesome. I will start after summer, if my schedule lets me. It sucks, cos the trainings are all at like 5pm and with my study now, I'm usually off at like 5pm, so that aint gonna work But the 6 months after summer I have a different schedule with very few hours at school, so it should be possible

Drumming is really cool, btw. Ive wanted to do that, but my parents never thought it would be a good idea. So I sticked with drumming on tables

Drumming tables aren't too bad. They don't give off the full sounds of a real drum set. But making beats are all the same.

Wow, thanks so much everyone. I never thought Id accomplish this. I need to thank a few persons whom I could never have done this without. First I would like to thank my two wonderful kids, Amber and Dante for their support. They are the best children a dad could ask for. I love them to bits. Without them I would be lost
And of course I need to thank my wonderful wife, Angelique for her love and support and her ability to listen to me, understand me and keep me going when times are rough. Without her I would have given up long ago, to be nothing more than a vague memory in someones mind. I could never have been the man I am today without her. She is my hero.

So, I can't get to MMA anymore as you guys know, but I've started Muay Thai on Tuesday. It fits into my schedule perfectly. I miss MMA, but I'd much rather be doing Muay Thai. In a few months time, I'll be able to do both - just have to save up.

true ...but real drums are a whole lot better....i went to warped tour yesterday ...and i got a whole lotta inspiration for new beats for my band sick...

And thats very cool. Glad you found an mma substitute. It would be very cool if you could do both, but you have to have time for it. Youre gonna be like Gina: mma fighter with very good muay thai background

It seems that Muay Thai is a heaven sent... I never thought it would be possible this year (too many variables), but it looks like it was meant to be. 

I can't play the drums, so nice to see others here that can. Maybe you guys should start a rock band or something. I'll be the singer.
