Gina Carano Will Receive first ‘Chick Norris Award’ at ActionFest 2012

Gina Carano to receive the first annual “Chick Norris” award for the best female action star for her role in the movie Haywire.  This award will be presented on April 12-15th at the ActionFest film festival in Asheville, N.C.

Chuck Norris said:

I cannot think of a better person than Gina for this honor, and I am proud that she is the first to receive this award. I highly respect her martial arts ability and she deserves all her accolades for ‘Haywire.’ Watch out world, a star is born.

First Weekend BOX Office in Russia for Haywire

Thanks to international sales, Haywire is still doing well pulling a total of $15.3 million so far in the US alone.  In Russia, Haywire is in 3rd place beating the previous weeks #1 and Dragon Tattoo in it’s 3rd week.
